Could someone tell me if the 2-way LCD touchscreen remote that comes with the 555 ES receiver will work on a 333 ES receiver...

Thanks,
~~SCOTT~~

Yes it will but!!!!!!Why would you want to use that PIECE OF STUFF REMOTE.You must own stock in sony and a battery company and have built in night vision.............Buy an RMAV2000 or a RC5000/Pronto.

Scott. I've got to second thx's remarks. I've got the same unit with my 50Es Sony and it's dim, eats batteries like my Nikon digital camera (even rechargeables) and clumsy to handle. If I could program my Cinema 7 to handle the surround functions I'd throw this unit away (or ship it to you).

I had an opportunity on Tuesday to play around with the remote for the 555ES (which adds macros to the one that comes with the 50ES). It really is horrible. Short timeouts. No contrast. Miserable backlight. Tiny hard buttons. Really really really not a good idea to buy it as an "upgrade".
