I've had my Ipronto for a few days now and all in all the product works very well. I have upgraded to the most current firmware and software versions. I do beleive that the key to getting this thing working properly is to read the "cut and paste button problems" post in this forum. This explains the biggest problem that everyone is having. You can't copy or cut&paste buttons. I was ready to throw this thing in the trash until I read that post. I went back and edited all of my layouts and buttons and the Ipronto works great. Sure, it has a few glitches (EPG, Layouts, etc..) but I'm sure these will be worked out. I'm running Windows XP with a Netgear wireless router and everything linked up perfectly. I'm sure that as soon as I post this, something will go wrong but for now I would recommend this unit.

I used for copy and paste for most of my configuration and am having a lot of lock up problems. I am ready to redo the whole thing but am not wanting to. Is this really my problem?

The only time mine locks up is when I try to have the EPG automatically change the channel for me. Other than that, everything is good. Do you have the latest Firmware and software?
