I'm sure this is old ground, but I need some help. I've had an iPronto for some time and just got a NetX device. Have done all the things I think are required to get the wireless system to operate properly, but it does not.
The NetX appears to have been installed properly - the light switches from red to orange after configuration setup and the right data appears on the NetX setup screen on the iPronto.
In the editor, I changed IR to RF in each Device Properties page and Pressed 'Auto Detect' which appears to work every time. I then downloaded the icf file into the iPronto.
Not only does the RF not work, but the IR commands still work! I haven't been able to find out if that is OK or not. Does anyone know if enabling the RF is supposed to turn off the IR? If so, seems probable that the firmware is not interpreting the RF mode. In any event if anyone can shed light on this, I'd appreciate it.

Yes, turning on the RF stops the IR. Does the light on the NetX change when you hit the buttons on the remote? Try this. Setup everything the way you think it should work. D/L your ICF to the IPronto. Setup the NetX and confirm it is loaded in the IPronto. Upload the ICF to your computer, save, and then d/l to the IPronto again. Hope it helps.

Also try not using AutoDetect...just manually enter the NetX's name in the box. For me it is
NetX1
Works for me ;-) ...miquelito
