This site has been a tremendous help in the past but I am having trouble finding info on how to make buttons for my iPronto. I am familiar with pronto edit as I also own a TSU3000, but I have never made a button in my life as I have always used other people's buttons. I would be happy using the default buttons that come in iProntoEdit but I hate not being able to make the background of the button transparent. This is not an issue with the TSU3000. I have photoshop but I am quite unfamiliar with it. I am sure that it is not a hard process but I just don't know where to begin. I am completely lost. Thanks for the help.

I have search several times but I can only find very basic expansions to very specific questions. I have photoshop but don't know how to use it. Is there anyone out there who can help get me of the starring line. I only want to make some VERY BASIC buttons with a transparent background. I am sure I will catch on once I am shown how to get started.

If you want to make your own personally-designed buttons, you will need to learn the relevant features of a program such as Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, Xara, Corel Draw, etc.

You will find tens of thousands of buttons on the Internet just by doing a simple Google search on "buttons". You can download these and resize them with Photoshop. Just read the help file under resize to find out how to do that.

I like Paint Shop Pro for making buttons. You can buy an old version, v8, for next to nothing online. Then buy a book called PaintShop Pro, Zero to Hero, and study Chapters 5 and 6. A few hours practice and you will be creating amazing buttons.

If, after you have done this, you have questions, post them on Remote Central, but please make your questions specific, not general.
