I put a series of commands (actually 4 or 5 cursor ups) into a button macro.
If I dont reference that button from elsewhere all commands execute perefectly if I press it.
If I do put a link to the button from another button the command sequence does not complete (only 1 or 2 commands execute - I can also see the IR monitor light on the TV only flashes twice)
I have checked this out again and again - it happens every time.
Please has anyone any idea what is happening? I have prog'd Prontos for years but just got this iPronto and I am stumped.
Any ideas??

Try putting a pause (say 3 seconds) between each command, run it, if it works reduce the pause, test again.

Sometimes the devices/iPronto can't reract quickly enough

The commands have a 0.5 to 1 sec pause anyway, but the strange thing is that they work fine as a macro sequence when the button stands alone and is pressed to execute the commands.
However, if the button is linked from elsewhere, from a button that itself has other commands in it, the sequence fails! Bizarre.
My only routes now are to abandon this arrangement which is a pain as it worked on my ProntoPro, or to sit down and decode the xml code and see what happens when a button is linked from elsewhere.
