Time I did something to try and fix this ...
When I press the OFF button on the left side of my iPronto, the wireless turns off ... but the screen doesn't
Re-booted the whole lot (Channel + a few times to reinstall) and this doesn't seem to have fixed it
Is this a known problem ? Sure it didn't used to have this problem

Well, I never heard about this problem. Only known problem is, that sometimes iPronto doesn't care when you press the OFF button. However, after the timeout it will turn off.
Check you settings:
LCD power off when on batteries and LCD power off when AC plugged

I have the same problem on one of my iProntos and I have never found a way to get it to turn off except by pulling the battery.
