Hi there,
I wanted to use the watch device with several source of TV channels, and I couldn't figure out how to do. Anybody has a glue ?

I have configured the EPG to scan for something like 30 channels. Channels 1-12 come from a first receiver, channels 13-30 from another one. Now, of course to make them appears on the TV, I need to have macros such as "launch receiver x, channel yyy", but I don' know how to have that in the Watch device.
It seems the pronto is only sending the number of the channel as programmed in the EPG, which doesn't suit me, because I might have 2 channels 4 (one on each receiver) for example.

Tricky ?

I'm afraid you're stuck with this one. Watch device can only learn codes for 10 digits and the other 3 "special" codes. Sorry, but it's not sophisticated enough to cope with 2 separate receivers.

Too bad :-( Maybe Philips engineers could think about improving the watch device in the next revision of the software.

In the mean time, I chose the "top 10" channel, and linked them to one button of the watch device. Each button launches a complete macro to go to the right receiver and channel.

Thanks,

I was going to suggest that, but thought that being limited to 10 channels would be somewhat prohibitive! Still, at least it covers your favourites, which is better than nothing at all. Shame though. It's such a powerful remote, it seems a shame to lose the facility to fully use the EPG. I assume having multiple receivers for different channels is just something they never thought of as being a possibility.

As you say, maybe a future upgrade.....
