I am trying to transfer files from my pronto pro editor to my ipronto edit 2.5 so i can use my old programes until as such time i finish programing the ipronto.
2nd question is on the phillips web page the have crestron as linked will phillips does that help with info programing i have look at the web site but not sure what is compatable with i pronto , is it just devices or makes/models of kit any one no
3rd is the any were i can get a hard copy of ipronto edit desgin manual apart from downloading and printing off

I can only answer the first question for you. Use a zip program (I prefer Power Archiver) and open your prontopro config file with the zip program. Unzip everyfile to a folder on your computer and then rebuild based upon those files in the iPronto.

As far as Crestron and Philips are concerned it might help to know the following:
1. Crestron have produced their own special verison of the ProntoPro called the MiniTouch. This ONLY uses RF to communicate with a Crestron RF receiver and hence communicate to a Crestron control processor. Crestron have their own software for programming their version of the ProntoPro and it does not have any IR capabilties at all. 2. Any universal IR remote control that can learn IR from a handset can be taught the Crestron IR codes. So it is possible to use any Pronto to control a Crestron system provided that it has a Crestron IR receiver. (actually this is true for AMX systems too)
