I have had Prontos for years and have just got my Ipronto.

I love it and its really cool, but I am surprised to find very little X10 stuff, specially icons and control codes.

I have a X10 gadget that turns IR into X10, and have put a NETX IR emitter on to it.

So now I need to be able to press Number, ON, etc.

It used to work with my old Pronto, so I guess it will work with the Ipronto.

So my question is, Can I use an old standard pronto code page in Ipronto?

I guess I can, but would rather know before trying

Thanks

I am not sure what you mean. You can definately paste an old (pronto) HEX IR string into the iPronto.

Why don't you just take your old pronto ccf and give it to the new iPronto software. I am prtetty sure I did that and then just cleaned up.

Yes, I did that. I use aliases for absolutely everything, which made the process easier. Simple to do, and you can use your iPronto while you're working on it, as the old Pronto screen works fine until you've updated your graphics!

I sold my old prontos some time ago, but do still have the old files. Will try it. When I tried to use an old pronto file from this site, the ipronto software wouldnt take it in!

Thanks though, I will now give it a go.
