I have on numerous occasions when tapping on or touching the screen accidentally have the remote send out the IR codes for the button under the area where I tapped but the screen does not illuminate. I have to tap a second maybe a third time to get the screen to come on. This doesn’t happen all the time but is somewhat annoying. Anyone have this happen to them? Am I just tapping wrong on the screen? Though I would think the screen would still come on even if I was tapping it wrong.

Thanks.

I have the same, but it is not happening a lot.
My ipronto has the latest firmware.

A clue anyone?

This happens to me as well, about once a week, most annoying. The only way i can activate the iPronto when this happens is by the power button, which I have to press three times...

Cool. Thought it was just my iPronto. Seems the software isn't shutting the IR emitter off when the screen goes into sleep mode.

I noted that, in sleep mode, the Wifi logo in the Ipronto's LCD , flashes during 1sec, (very rarely)
So, the Ipronto's sleep is partial (remember that in sleep mode, the clock and the EPG shedule are running)
