I have a problem with Custom IR code. It doesn't work.

I have a new dpx1100 and I would like to use extended IR code
For example the standard IR Code for S-VIDEO Button is D1 D8 inYamaha PDF's file and when I use the "learning mode" the IR code in ipronto is 900A 006D 0000 0001 D12E D827.
The buton "Zoom" is not on the remote control and I saw that the Extended code for "Zoom" was D1 EC. I made a copy to a new button and I wrote 900A 006D 0000 0001 D12E EC27. I replaced D8 by EC but it doesn' work.

Could you help me ?

Thanks a lot
Olivier

Try 900A 006D 0000 0001 D12E EC13.

The NEC code incorporates some simple error checking. The second byte in each word is the bitwise complement of the first byte.

Thank you very Muck Dave, it works well now but I tried with a other code D1 EB for normal screen (no zoom) I entered 900A 006D 0000 0001 D12E EB13 and it doesn't work.

Why now my extended IR code works for "zoom" (I changed 27 by 13 as you said to me) and not for "normal" mode ?

It's not that simple.

The two bytes of the custom code need to add up to FF hex. FF-EB=14, so EB requires 14 as its complement.
