What is up with this?? I've got over 4 hours into this so far. The iPronto wants to do an update but always hangs during partition 2. Any ideas? Sometimes it makes it further than others but always hangs. Changed to a static IP and it still hangs.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Just an update... it just made it through partition 2. However, its hanging on partition 3 now.
Has anyone else experienced this?? I've called Phlips and to be honest, they don't appear to understand the issue either. I'm being told that this can take up to 48 hours.
I believe this is the longest firmware update I've ever experienced!

Well, I stand corrected. I was pointing fingers towards Philips and guess what... it was Linksys. Yes, Linksys.
After a few days of trying to complete the download I found that every once in a while my laptop would hang on a download. Then I tested this on my workstation... and the same thing happened. So I thought that maybe the wireless AP was bad. After searching Linksyss' website I found that a firmware update was required. Updated the firmware and vrrrooom, the iPronto updated quickly. All is well now.
Can you believe this... in order to update my iPronto firmware I had to first update my wireless access point firmware.
I feel much better now.

I've had STRANGE things occur due to router firmware in the past (Linksys too)... so I guess wireless access point firmware could do the same thing.
