Hi, Maybe this question is a very obvious one, but... is the scroll wheel really only made for adjustment of the volume or can I use it for... ehh.... let's say... scrolling through webpages?
Or did I mis something in the manual?

You haven't missed something in the manual...
...at the moment the scroll wheel does only adjust the volume. This somewhat strange decision has been queried with Philips several times.

Early versions of the firmware did use the scroll wheel for web page scrolling, but it was a bit flaky so it seems the feature has been removed to improve stability.

Thats the Philips mentality. Put in a nice feature, fail miserably to get it to work properly, Stop trying to rectify the problem and disable the feature. The iPronto is destined for the discontinued garbage heap. I am sure we will be able to pick them up for $100 in a few years when no one wants the "Philips Hassle"
