Has anyone tried to skip prontoedit, and just enter XML stuff directly to create your config file? If so, does anyone have any sort of notes, or scripts to start doing this?

My thought was I'm planning on doing an XP type interface like several other people have, and it seems like I could whip up a simple Perl library to create the interface, and manage my IR codes, so that modifications/etc are alot easier, debug is easier, etc. (Plus that damned gallery is so slow, it would probably get created much easier)

Just wondered if someone else has already tried this.

Toucankiwi,

You know there is a faster way to add graphics to your ICF instead of using the iPronto Gallery option "Select Bitmap"?
I have all my graphics conveniently arranged in different directories and import them directly with the "IMPORT BITMAP" function.
Much faster and easier.

Kees
