Here is the problem: I am considering purchasing the iPronto, but from what I have been able to read, it has only 8 "pages" available. What do you do if you have 8 remotes, and some with has many has 46 buttons?

Can you program on button on a "page" to erase the current buttons and write the screen with more buttons, simulating two (or more pages) for one remote?

Suggest you download the iprontoedit software from this website and look at some of the ipronto files here. You will have no problem with capacity.

Thanks for your help, but I was not sure from your replay if you can rewrite a current "page" with new buttons ? For example, those buttons you rarely use, but still want available.

you are mistaking the hard buttons with what the remote can do. It has 8 hard buttons to shift "worlds" i.e. one is used for web. But in the rest you can do whatever you want

You can have as many pages for each device as you could possibly think of. Suggest you do as a previous answer to your post states - Download the iPronto Editor and look at the default setup and then go to the files section of this site and download some others. You have no problem to be concerned with 8 remotes.
