What is the newest firmware and how well does it make the iPronto work?
BlueDo told me I will have my remote by Friday so I would like to know as much as I can before hand to make the programming less of a pain.
Also when I learn buttons do I have to go into iProntedit and erase all of the actions for each button before hand or can I just learn directly from the remote and have the remote replace the old IR itself?
Thanks, MAX

Max,
#1 By choosing the upgrade button, always the latest available firmware will be download and installed automatically to your iPronto through your wireless lan network connection. If your iPronto already has the newest version, the session will stop and starts up again by rebooting the system.
#2 You don't need iProntoedit to learn IR codes for your buttons. Just activate "learn" on you iPronto and you will be able to learn all buttons you tap on.

I've found that upgrading the firmware without the remote being connected to the mains can still cause problems. Just thought it was worth mentioning. One other thing that was causing me problems is that I used to switch off my wireless LAN daily, getting the wireless the LAN to connect to everything the next day is a total pain. It was'nt a problem before I bought the iPronto. So I don't turn the LAN off now and no more problems.
