Is anyone running a very large file? I have yet to buy my Ipronto but have been working on a very large icf with alot of graphics which is currently running at about 13mb. I'd hate to run into a problem downloading the file after I receive it.

Thanks!

I just sent my .icf file to Philips today for them to look at. My file is only 2.7M with grahics and when I try and download it I get the file is too complex.. Please delete pages, devices or buttons. I thought I was almost good to go but one more road block. If I were you I would download it regularly to make sure you don't have any conflicts.

I optimized the file last night and it is about 6.2mb now. I looked through help in iPronto Edit and found that the maximum file size is 8mb. I'll be really bummed if it can't handle more than a few mb. I've got about 10 devices set up. I'm going to buy the iPronto next week and hope I didn't waste alot of time on designing this icf.

did you make it that much smaller by letting it manage your graphics ?

Yup, I went into Ipronto Properties and selected optimize, and took the slider all the way to the left. All BMPs are now Jpegs. It condensed the file into less than half the original.

The code portion of your ICF is limited believe it or not to 2MB at the moment. This according to what I've heard from Philips, this will be fixed at some later time to 6MB. You can check your code portion for size by temporarily changing you file extension to .zip. Check the size of the configxml in win zip. Adjust accordingly (delete stuff you'll need to do without).
I haven't actually run into problems with overall size as relates to graphics content.

My configedit.xml file is 6.15 mb, 424kb packed. Is this going to be a problem?
