I wake up every morning find my ipronto battery dead even though i powered it off myself and it was 75% Full My ICF file is 4.4MB which takes about 30 minutes to load is this normal do i have to keep it charging over night

I've just got an iPronto of my own so have been playing a bit over the last few days with graphics, tranparency and layouts etc and found that although my download and "processing" times were instant (or near enough), as soon as I added in the IR codes to my config suddenly the processing phase went to about 15 minutes.
It does this too when rebooting after an EPG update ... though why the EPG update requires a reboot is beyond me!

I'd suggest keeping it charging overnight.
See the thread "Reboot Times" for discussion and resolution (it is a workaround, really, until Philips resolves it in an update hopefully) of the long reboot times. Since implementing the workaround I define in that thread, I've got very short reboot times regardless of the EPG update.
