After I upgraded to the lastversion of the software on mi iPronto I can not change the DNS server address in the network panel. I go, write the address, save, but when I go back and is blank again. If I go to the Manual configuration (resetting and holding down the wheel) the DNS number is correct and thus I can connect to the Internet, but in normal operation mode I can't. I tried to switch to DHCP but then again it writes a wrong DNS number which I can not edit. Can somebody help me? Thanks

I am having the same problem but I am using encription. The software inserts a dash in 2 places in the encription. When I remove them and store the changes it re inserts them. I called Phillips support July 11th they said they would be back to me within 24hrs. I have not gotten a call back yet. I have tried DHCP but the 6400 does not receive the info, even though I have 4 other IP devices working and getting DHCP info from the same router. I am looking for help also.

I just upgraded to 1.4.5 and am having the same DNS problem. DNS numbers and Domain Name information are accepted but not stored. I reported the problem to Philips Tech Support on the Pronto website and I will post their response as soon as I get one -- correction -- IF I get one!

It seems the DNS issue is solved with the latest firmware that they put online a couple of hours ago 1.4.8

Great! But how do you get 1.4.8 on the iPronto if you can't set the DNS and connect to the internet? Any suggestions?

First tell it you want to update the firmware. When it reboots, hold down the SCROLL button right away (for a while). It will present a menu. Enter in all of your network/wireless settings MANUALLY and then continue. Should work.
