I have not found anywhere to turn this feature on - there must be somewhere to turn it on and setup the RF receiver code it will communicate with.

You have the iPronto's RF receiver to work with?

the iPronto only does 802.11b, it does not work with the RF receivers used by the other Prontos

OK, I was told that it would work with the RF receivers that I use with my color pronto's (of course...to make a sale sales reps will say anything...).
I actually am pleased with its IR capability (seems to successfully send the signals in a broad spectrum -- I added a temporary IR receiver that feeds my RF unit and it works great).
Not pleased with the 'wake-up' or lack of quick wakeup (takes a few seconds to wake up when I press the hard keys - wish they were live all the time as I have to press them again after it wakes up).
Needs a battery charger craddle (who thought of the top plug in)? Some suggested that Phillips should replace the battery cover with something that could interact with a battery charging craddle - GREAT idea...if Phillips can't do it someone should create this :) I'll buy a few.

I haven't been haveing the same problem. But my question is that the only problem you have been having? We have gone through three iprontos and they seem to have the same problem the first two the power issue and the third one the buttons are getting stuck. you have to go to one of the broswers to get it unstuck. Any thing you can tell me? I already upgraded the software in both the ipronto and the ipronto edit.

My iPronto works well and I have not had any problems with it (besides wishing it would wake up quicker). I have not had any buttons get stuck? Are the hard buttons getting stuck or the touch screen?
I have not done any extensive programing yet on the iPronto - just some learning from a few remotes (I still mainly use my smaller Pronto 6000 except when I am viewing the TV program guides which work well on the iPronto).
