Hi. I've been using the Logitech Harmony for the last 7 years and now it's starting to fail me. With Logitech having dropped support 3 years ago, I can't update or make changes to my remote. It was still working fine for my setup, but then it suddenly quit talking to my Epson projector in my theatre room. I'm looking for a replacement for the Harmony, but haven't found one that will do the same thing. I bought the Sofabaton X1S, but that isn't doing what I need it to do because it will only talk to devices in the same room as the hub. The difficulty I have is that I have a theatre room in my basement with my projector and screen. In the next room in the back of my basement is a rack with my A/V devices-my pioneer receiver, Apple TV, DVD player, etc. I use those A/V devices not only for my theatre room but also for two other TVs that are set up in other locations in my basement. I'm trying to find a remote that will work devices from multiple rooms like the Harmony would do. I want to be able to sit in my theatre room and control my receiver and Apple TV in the next room. Does anyone know of a remote that will do this? Thanks for your help.

This https://www.unfoldedcircle.com/Or maybe this [Link: allonis.com] Unfortunately for the last 10 years we have seen the erosion of products that consumers can purchase themselves and service themselves. "right-to-repair", "right-to-own", etc... Remember, always vote for democracy and don't support manufactures that want subscriptions or cloud devices that they can brick on you.

I'm not arguing, I'm explaining why I'm right. |

There are several threads about the Unfolded Circle remote in /r/logitechharmony at Reddit. The main takeaway is that it is not yet fully cooked. The Allonis looks more fully baked, but it is definitely the high-priced spread, more inline with Control4 or Crestron then a Harmony Elite. Another possibility is the Sofabaton X1S. This is a hub based system similar in concept to the Harmony Elite. This looks nice, but the software is still pretty new, and you know what that means. https://sofabaton.com The Harmony remotes are readily available used on eBay and elsewhere, this may be your best solution if all your equipment is supported in the database. This may be a problem with newer models using IP control, as they are not being entered very often. For example, I am about to buy an LG OLED77C4 and while the IP protocol for the C3 is in the database, the C4 generation is not. I can probably hack around this, hacking around worked to get my Denon HEOS Amp going, but it is a PITA. Luckily remote protocols and IR codes rarely change. Good luck!

They have supported SlingBox since it was discontinued and Harmony sold far more remotes than SlingBoxes.
