Are all remote functions replicated on the Harmony 890?
As an example I have a new receiver (Yamaha RX-V661). With the Yamaha remote I am able to establish preset stations and once I establish the presets they are available to me with the Harmony.
I have not been able to establish presets using the Harmony. So my question is is the Harmony supposed to replicate all the functionality of a components remote?
I have the same challenges with DirecTV, etc., and it may simply be that I haven't worked on it enough.

The harmony can send the same IR commands as the OEM remote. If they aren't in the database then you can teach them. However, if your OEM remote has some special functionality that's done outside of simply sending IR commands then the Harmony can't do that.
What is it about establishing presets that the harmony can't do? Maybe it's just a missing/incorrect command.
