Guys,
Just changed notebook computer over for one with Vista. Loaded latest Harmony software (7.3.2) and it wanted to create an account. It didn't seem to give me the option to enter my existing login so I created a new account and without setting everything up I just went ahead and updated with a minimal setup.
Anyway I logged in later with my regular account and everything seems to be there from Logitech's web server, but the favorites are missing from the remote even though they are on the server. In fact the favorites button is completely blank.
I've updated the firmware but this didn't change anything.
Anyone know of a fix? Anyone know how to fully reset the remote to factory default?
Thanks for any help...

1. Check the activity(ies) "Set Up Favorite Channels" again, and make sure there are no invalid message when you click save.
2. Re-installing the Firmware without updating the configuration will reset the remote.

After I posted I setup a favorite channel in an activity I hadn't used previously and it transferred and set up correctly. BUT WOULD YOU BELIEVE so did the others come back although as the last entry in the custom buttons list rather than the usual first even though the normal place (first button) is free from any other customization. I'll try the reset of the remote tonight before doing anything else to see if that restores it properly otherwise it looks like I'll just have to remove all the favorites and then add them back in. I'll post the result in case it helps other folks down the track... Pfeff

FYI - if you just cancel out of the "setup a new account" screen in the software installation it will go back to the login screen where you can enter your existing login software. I did the same thing a few days ago except I was installing on a new XP pc.

The reset didn't work, after updating the firmware, the remote still had the last settings. Tried a few different things on the activity with the least customization. Nothing worked. Last resort was to delete all the favorites and all the additional buttons entries. Updated, then set up 6 additional button entries, update, which got rid of the blank button, then setup a couple favorites. After updating, the blank button was still gone, but now the favorites are at the end instead of the first button. Damn. Back to the drawing board... BTW is the web based tool still available? I don't seem to be able to find the link from Logitech's website?? Pfeff
