I am testing a Harmony 1000 with the RF base station to see if this is a viable product for me to offer to my customers, but I keep having an extremely annoying problem.
The activities run fine, but when using the remote to send out single commands (Ch+, Mute, etc.), sometimes the remote will send the command more than once. It doesn't happen every time, but way too often to be considered usable. Imagine hitting the Ch+ command to go up one channel and instead it goes up two and you'll understand what I'm going through.
Secondly, and this is probably more of a design flaw than anything, but has anyone noticed how if you press something like Vol+ a bunch of times that the remote caches the presses so that after you've stopped pressing the button, the commands keep blasting?

Lower the repeat rate (troubleshooting).
It's only caching the button presses because of the delay settings (inter-device delay). e.g. if the interdevice delay is 1000 ms (1 second) and you press the button 6 times it will send them out separated by a 1 second delay.
