I made some updates to my Harmony 880 remote for the first time in about 2 months. After the updates completed, I noticed that the "Day of Week" in the Day/Time display in the upper left shows an ellipsis for the Day ("M..." instead of "Mon").
I played with the dates to see if others did the same, and naturally Wednesday also does it ("W..." instead of "Wed"). The other days of week do not do this and display properly ("Sun", "Tue", "Thu", "Fri", "Sat").
Has anyone seen this? For me it's particularly annoying as I hate little "ellipsis/text width" glitches like this. My guess is that Harmony resized some of the display fields in their lastest firmware update, and forgot that "Mon" and "Wed" are the longest days of the week (in pixel width).
(Meanwhile, I'm still waiting for customizable themes. The World Cup Soccer theme is cute, but I have no need to apply it.)

Hi I'm new to the forum and only had my 880 remote for 2 weeks, I to had exactly the same problem after updating to Ver 5 of their software. I contacted Harmony support and this was the fix they offered. The issue may be resolved by upgrading the firmware on the remote in safe mode and then updating the remote.
1. Ensure the Remote is in Safe Mode Requested by taking out the batteries, and disconnecting the remote from the USB cable.
2. Hold down the Off button and plug the remote into the USB.
3. Continue holding down the Off button for another 10 seconds. The remote should then display the words "Safe Mode Requested".
4. With the unit in Safe Mode Requested, re-install the firmware by clicking Support on your home page.
5. Click Firmware in the Downloads section and follow the online instructions to upgrade the firmware.
6. Once the firmware upgrade is complete, click Update My Remote.
I fortunately did not have to do this, I left my remote unused for 18 hrs. and the problem resolved itself. I hope this info helps.
