Until I can afford a truely nice 5.1 system I"m using the Spherex system, and I'm quite happy with it so I won't be changing any time soon. I really like the idea of the Harmony remotes, but if they won't control my 5.1 I won't be buying. Is there a list anywhere that I can look at, or does anyone know if they work with the Harmony ??

Go to the logitech harmony website and take a test drive and you can see for yourself. But if it comes with it's own IR remote then you can easily teach the harmony all the commands using the original remote even if it's not already in the database. And all harmonies work the same in that regard so any harmony model will work.
