Hi all,
in general I'm very satisfied with my two weeks old 555 (european 550 version), only one strange behaviour: I have a 15 channel IR receiver connected to my home automation system. Created it as a (new) home appliance device and teached from the original RC all works pretty fine. To access the device anywhere I've added the device to all of my (14) activities and defined 6 LCD keys (under activities) for some common tasks.
So far, so good, I have the 6 LCD keys available + working in all activities. The strange thing is that the 6 LCD keys are also placed in the Sound *and* Picture layout of *any* activity using this device - but only on the remote itself. Not a show stopper, but a waste of screen space. If I look at the Sound/Picture configuration screens there is none of the buttons, nor is the device itself accesible on the Sound/Picture layout (as one should expect). In decvice mode, there are no Sound/Picture configuration screens at all.
Any ideas apart from removing and readding the device (obviously the IR codes for this device are somewhat special, the RC needs several attempts to get the code right, so learning them was a time consuming process)?
Still made several small config. modifications/ updates with the Java and/or Web frontend - no changes, after updating they are back on the remote...
For me, this looks like a bug in the software? Or is it me doing something wrong?

(Nearly) solved. German support was unable to help me, but in the meantime I've been forwarded to 2nd level Canadian support. They confirmed it to be a bug in the configuration software. Will be fixed in the near future.
