I guess I’m just remote control illiterate. After 3 months of attempting to program my 880, I am giving up. I think it’s a great idea, but it’s just not for me. So I am offering it up for sale. Anyone interested?

Giving up, have you asked for help here, called support they're pretty at trying to fix stuff. What problems are you having.

I have done a lot of reading and spent 3 hours one afternoon with second level support. They even had to program extra features so that I could control my DVD-recorder/VCR combo. It's just too much trouble.

Just curious as to what remote you think would be easier to program.
If you couldnt get this one please save yourself alot of time and aggravation trying to program any of the others.

There are people here who are great at solving problems, before giving up why dont you tell us what the problem is and see if we can help What can it hurt

I wish to whole heartedly thank everyone on this forum for the help that you provided me while I tried to set up my 880. It is with sadness that I have put it up for auction on Ebay (I just couldn't figure it out). So it's back to my 7 remotes for now. Again, this is a great forum and thanks

I don't know bart you manage to juggle 7 remotes but can't program 1 harmony. I t isn't that hard, you tell the website what equipment you have, then you create activities based on that equipment i.e. watch tv, watch vcr, watch dvd. Then you check to see what works what doesn't and tweak accordingly. What gives???
