I just got my new Harmony 880, and so far all I can say is WOW, what a remote!
Almost immediately after setting it up on the web site it controlled all of my devices without a problem (it even does a couple of things the original doesn't.
One question I do have...(sorry if this has been asked before), but is there a way to modify the activity "macros" that set up what turns on and off. What I would like to do is have my "Watch TV" activity just set up the TV and Receiver because I usually leave the set top box "on" all the time, so that things don't get messed up if it's recording when I turn my system on.

Thanks in advance,
Buddy

Welcome to the harmony world. You don't directly control the activity start and stop commands, but rather you set up the devices and activities to do what you want the the harmony figures out how to make that happen.

In this case you need to go into the set top box Device and adjust the power settings telling it to either leave the device on all the time or that the device has no power buttons. The first option doesn't always work - there's a bug somewhere - but the second one seems to work reliably.

This will prevent the harmony from sending any power commands.

Look at each device and each activity and check out the various options for power, inputs, etc.
