Hey everyone, I have just purchased a 520 and am having a few programming problems. Seriously, this remote has excellent potential but the software supplied is anything but useful.
Currently what I have set up is the initial activity menus (ie, Watch TV, Watch Movie, Play Game) and when you select one of these it does its thing and then brings up some more options on the LCD screen (The titles of the custom buttons that I have put on there). So for example, if I select Play Game, it turns on the TV and Xbox and then comes up with more options that I have added, like Watch TV (which changes the TV input from AV to TV) and watch stored movie (Which brings up my stored movies which I have on my Xbox hard drive). What I would like it to do now, is change the options on the LCD screen to what would be there if I had selected Watch TV or Watch Movie from the main activity menu.

I want it like so:

Main Activities
-Watch TV
-Watch Movie
-Play Game
-Listen to Music

This is what is in the "Watch TV" menu
-Turn Off
-Watch Movie
-Play Game
-Listen to Music

Now if I select "Play Game" it brings up...
-Turn Off
-Watch TV
-Watch Movie
-Listen to Music
-Etc
-Etc

Now if I select "Watch TV" I want it to bring up the menu set up for the "Watch TV" activity. And then if I selected "Play Game" from within this menu, it would bring up the game menus, and then if I selected "Watch TV" it would go back to the TV menu, and so forth in a circle.

Hopefuly someone can help! Sorry if this post was a bit long winded, but I wanted to explain it thoroughly.
ANY comments greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Sorry to tell you this, but you have it totally wrong!

All you need to do is set up every activity you need(Watch TV, Play game, Watch stored movie etc...). Don't try to set up sub-activities. It can't be done and just confuses things.

If you are in an activity, and you want to change to a new activity, just press the "Activity" button, then select the new activity from the list.

If you are in an activity and want to turn everything off, press the "Off" button.
