This will be my first Universal Remote purchase and I am not sure what to get. Any suggestions will be appriciated.
It will be used for a Yamaha 7.1 Channel Reciever
Plasma TV
DVD/VCR Combo
TiVo
CD Player
Digital Cable
and if possible iPod

Since you have a Tivo I'd recommend a 680. It's closest to the Tivo peanut remote. You might also consider a 720 (different ergonomics). The 880 is the sexy (and expensive) one but it doesn't have some of the 680 features and it has had more than it's share of teething problems.
Bottom line is they'll all control your equipment the same way, so look at the button layout and LCD screen and other features. There is a thread here with pictures of all the remotes that was just recently updated.
