My beloved 659 has just died, and I don't think it's coming back...Having said that...I was looking for some advice as to which Harmony to purchase next.
The things I did NOT like about the 659;
The play pause etc. buttons were far too low on the remote to use easily The buttons were too hard, especially in the winter (dry hands=slippery hands) Other than that, the remote has served me well for many years, hence the desire to purchase another...
I have the following devices that it will control; TV DVD burner CD jukebox Receiver Digital Cable 2nd receiver
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated as I am impatient. I waant to replace the remote as soon as possible.
Thanks in advance for any and all advice.
Kindly, -McDegga

Or you can look at all of them and decide for yourself. That thread has pics of every harmony available, even the euro ones.

I have looked at all remotes (seems like hundreds) and the 659 still stands out. It looks like the 680 has the functionality that I am looking for, but the jog buttons near the middle of the remote seem to be more user friendlt than the 659's near the bottom which, in concert with my large hands, requires a second hand to control especially if t6he air is particularly dry in my house. My ideal remote is a 659 with the buttons for play rewind etc... closer to the top of the remote with buttons that are soft rubber (read:non slip).
Thanks again for any and all help. -McDegga
