There are so many different Harmony remotes that I'm not sure which one is right for me. I have a pretty basic set up: direct TV H10 receiver, Pioneer surround sound receiver sony LCD 60 TV and Sony DVD. Will any of them work for me?

You need to do a little research and visit http://www.logitech.com

To start off, one of the greatest thing about the logitech harmony remotes is the capability to have about 99.1 percent of all devices archived so that you can add your devices easily in a intuitive wizard process. If the device is not available, you have the capability to teach the harmony remote to function correctly.

As far as which you should go with...it's a matter of preference. I always like the latest and greatest so I would go with the latest. However, I also check to see what improvements there are in comparison to the previous models. It's not a good general thumb because many can say that they like the form and function from previous models. Newer models doesn't mean better. At least that's what we all hope for.

Lastly, go here [Link: logitech.com] and do a test drive to see for yourself the ease of adding a remote.

Search the forum for more pictures of each devices but doing a google search will also yield many images.

If you don't have to have the latest and greatest gadget (the 880) I recommend the 680 for Tivo use.
