Has anyone used the 880 remote with xbox 360? I am curious if you can design your own background for the LCD to match that off an xbox 360s, and have the buttons y,b,a,x on there like the xbox remote from harmony.
I don't like that particular model because the buttons are "clicky" and aren't as smooth as some of the others, and it honestly feels kind of cheap

All Harmony remotes draw off the same databse of IR codes - the 880 will work fine with the xBox 360. The only thing that the Harmony xBox 360 remote gives you is A B X Y buttons.
Yes, you can load any background picture you want, but black seems to work best for most people as the LCD isn't that that great.
The best buttons are generally thought to be those of the 6XX models. The 659 and 680 have harder "gel" buttons, but the feel is very good, and the 676 and 688 have buttons more typical of what you'll find on most remotes. The 688 buttons are fine except that they aren't well separated so your thumb may get a little lost, YMMV.
