Hi, new member Butty from the Uk here. I've bought an 885 and have come to the forum for help in configuring it/ maximising its potential. My starting point is to work out which of the US models is the same as my UK model 885. Does anyone know???

Thanks

Butty

880. Generally speaking, change the ending 5 to a 0.

Also the 885 has the 4 buttons for teletext use. (red, green, blue and yellow).

Generally speaking, change the ending 5 to a 0.

that is true for the 880, but the number is different for a lot of the 748,768, 659....

but I would say that generally to go European change the last digit to 5 but to go NA look for the model with the two first digits that are the same.

PS the only one that does not follow that rule is the original Harmony that was renamed 745 when it got a model number (when the 768 and 748 came out)
...

True - I was thinking about the 680, 880 and 520.
