Had a 688 for a while now, and got it pretty well set up, but I have one question I was wondering if someone could help me out on.

My cablebox supports 30 sec. skip, and swapping for dual tuners. However, on the original remote that came with it, there are no buttons for those functions, and the harmony setup doesn't have the functions either for my device. I dug up the codes for those functions, but I can't figure out how to use them for the harmony. I got them into my setup by programming them into the original remote, and the having the harmony learn from it. That seems like it's an extra step I shouldn't need to make. What if I didn't have the original remote to learn from?

Is there a way to get those codes directly into the harmony.

Thanks much.

Usually, someone else has already entered the commands and they're in the Harmony database already.

If all you have are Pronot hex codes, they can be emailed to support for entry. (The reason they require email these days is to make sure that as new codes come in, they're available to all new users.)
