I wondered whether anybody else is suffering like i am trying to set-up an activity that will power-on my tv, set-top box and av receiver. I can do the latter two, however the TV does not use the correct input. The problem i have is that in order to view the digi box i need to press TV/AV and then AV2 (Green button) on the panasonic remote, likewise i have to press TV/AV and then AV3 (Blue [component]) for my DVD. Anyone any ideas how to set this is up correctly as an input channel on a Harmony 525 remote ?
regards,
Rob.

Thanks for that fella, i managed to get the input working for activating my TV/SKY/Amp activity (im chuffed), however trying to activate my 'watch dvd' activity would start the dvd, select dvd on my amp but would not select the correct input for the TV. Initially it would change the input to DVB (though dont have freeview etc), then a couple more goes would leave a blank screen. The connection for my DVD is the component video input at the side of the AV4 input, if i use the panasonic remote, select TV/AV and then press the blue button it is fine, the same can be said if i use the 525 as a tv remote. Further help for a novice would be really helpful, also if anyone knows how to stop channel skipping when browsing through the programme menu in sky using the cursor keypad on the 525 remote. thanks.

Channel skipping - reduce the number of repeats setting on the sky device by following the troubleshooting link, saying the device responds too much or too little to commands, then further narrowing down to say the remote responds too much. A setting of 2 might be better for your device.

Fellas thanks for you input its much appreciated, im slowly setting up the device to how i want it, so far im chuffed with the little fella. Im still having problems with the TV input for the DVD which is using the component video input as opposed to AV4 scart input. Anyone any pointers for the pan veira is much appreciated, not sure why the pan is configured this way it seems unusual to me.

I've just gone through a couple of days experimenting with a Harmony 525 and a Panasonic TU-PTA600 tuner - which sounds like it has a very similar way of selecting inputs to your Viera. In the end I programmed just two inputs to the Harmony - TV and AV - and use the additional action programming to press the appropriate colour button to select the required AV input after the TV or AV mode is selected. This seems to work well as the Harmony is able to keep track of whether the tuner is in TV or AV mode, then just sends the appropriate colour button code to select AV channel. You may need to experiment a bit to get it flawless - I had to program double-presses of the colour keys to get it completely reliable.
