I know, it has been discussed tons of times, but I've tried everything so I have to post it again :)
When I press a button multiple times quickly (to move in a menu or to browse the epg on my digital set top box, a digiquest mhp-t) my harmony 525 seems to "bufferize" the commands and sends 'em awfully slow...
I've alread checked my settings power-on delay: 500 inter-key delay: 0 inter-device delay: 0 repatitions: 2
This is very annoying, as I used to move very quickly in the epg... I tried learning the commands as raw, but this helps only a little; are harmonys so slow compared to oem remotes? I understand they have a lot more to do, but it seems strange to me. The strangest thing s that the delay seems to be located BEFORE the ir signal is sent, not after. For example if i press up, it waits a little then it issues the command; this doesn't happen with the original remote...
Any ideas?

What happens at 1 repeat?
Usually, unless something odd is going on behind the scenes (i.e. in the code for the device), its as quick as the OEM remote.
Your delays and repeats look right, so your next step is definitely contacting support - you've done all you can with the tools as your disposal.

When you learned commands in RAW mode, did you hold down the buttons for longer than you would when actually using the OEM remote? I have found that when learning in RAW mode, the way to get the best response from the learned commands is to learn a really short tap...just long enough for the learning to work. Try learning again and keeping the commands as short as possible.

Thanks for the quick help :) I've already tried to record the commands in raw mode with as short as possible taps... I don't know if it's a bug with the 525 firmware, but it's extremely slow... it seems that the remote isn't using the delays I set but it waits always at least half a second between repeated keypresses...
Anyway, I contacted the support team and I'm waiting for an answer... I bet it's just something odd im my profile...
Thanks again :)

Hi :)
did you ever get around fixing this issue? Im struggeling with the same problem. The remote will not allow me to press a key multiple times, it needs to be "held" down to pass through more than one press. Im used to press key "up" or "down" on my HTPC or Xbox (orginal remote works fine).

hI ILGASPA, I ALSO have DIGIQUEST MHP-T . The bufferisation problem it's due to a firmware bug in the decoder. Infact, it's a well known bug! If you use the original telecommand you obtain the same way of functioning (like a buffering of command...).. If you want major details, contact me in PM (in Italian if you come from Italy as me!). A question for all, do you have pronto codes for my TS-1000 (obviously for Digiquest MHP-T)? Bye, Paolo.
