Anyone have any ideas how I can leave a device on sometimes? As in, I'm watching a DVD, and I want to watch Tv, but I don't want to turn off the DVD. Can I program it so that when I hit the watch TV activity button, the DVD stays on? I don't want the Watch TV activity to turn on the DVD if it's off, but just leave it on if it's already on? I don't want to leave it on all the time either, so when I hit the off button, everything turns off.

Thanks.

You could click on "devices" then "TV" to gain control of the TV without switching the DVD off
I'll get it right one day...

You should be able to change a setting called "Leave Unused Devices On" - this setting will leave any devices on that have been turned on, and will still turn everything off when the Off button is pressed. If you follow the suggestion above, you will confuse the Smart State variables of the remote.

I just realized I didn't specify where to find the setting.

Go to your Watch TV activity, click the Customize link, then click Change Options. The third option down is an On/Off toggle called Turn Off Unused Devices.
