Had a few quick questions regarding the mapping/organization of labels on the 880:
1.) What controls the ordering of labels in the device menus. I do not see what organizes this or how it can be changed.
2.) What controls what functions appear in an activity (i.e. Watch TV - I'd like more custom options such as a night mode which would set my receiver in this activity to the night sound setting).
3.) What controls the ordering of said functions in the activities?
4.) Can functions on the lcd do more than execute an action. For example, could I have a function that is say - 'Audio Settings' and it'd open a page for audio settings? I guess nested pages within pages. Or is everything controlled via pages you cycle through?
Too bad they don't allow you to title these pages. Would make organization a bit better.

1 - Currently this appears to be somewhat random to me. You can currently specifically set the order of the activities screen but I don't think you can change the order of the LCD commands within an activity.
2 - You do. You just need to enable all the necessary devices for each function and then you can map whatever you'd like to whatever button you like from whatever device you'd like. In your example you would allow your Cable Box/Tivo/Sat, TV, Receiver for the "Watch TV" activity and then you would set up a command on the LCD for Night Mode since there is no hard button for this. YOu can actually set that command to any button (hard or soft) that you'd like to but I'm just assuming that you'd put it on the LCD...
3 - You do. In the Activities box on the right side of the home page (once you've logged in of course) just select "Re-order Activities"
4 - No. You can't have an LCD button perform an action and then jump to another screen. This type of customization is not allowed. I can do that sort of thing with my Pronto but this remote isn't made for that sort of customization.

Cool thanks for the help.
WRT #3:
"3 - You do. In the Activities box on the right side of the home page (once you've logged in of course) just select "Re-order Activities""
I was actually more curious of how to order the functions in the activities themselves (like what appears while i'm in the watch tv activity). I'm toying with this now and i'm guessing the order that it's listed is how it is displayed.
Too bad they don't let you order them similar to activities. Right now i keep copy pasting/reassigning to adjust the ordering.

If you haven't figured it out yet...you can arrange the LCD functions in the activities as long as you keep them grouped by device (ie in "watch tv" - all tv commands in one group followed by all stereo commands in another). If you try to list them in a logical order to you, you may have them all rearranged by the computer.

It's not really my first day, I used to post years ago when I first got my Pronto but have had to register now.
I too have fallen foul of this "feature" of my Harmony 655.
I have my screen is configured to use 4 buttons with the activity name on the top line.
On my "Watch SKY" activity I have set up three commands on the LCD screen. The commands are "Info" for the Sky+ box and "Light On" & "Light Off" for an X-10 controlled light behind the TV. What ever order I insert them on the web site, they are ALWAYS re-ordered "Info", "Light Off" on the middle row, with "Light On" on the bottom left.
The Harmony programming interface displays LCD commands grouped by device, irrespective of the order you enter them. The appear to be sequenced alphabetically within each device. There is no way to force it to put "Light On" "Light Off", in that order, on the bottom row. So there is no way for me to configure the 655 to have these two commands appear in the same place across multiple activities.
It would also be useful to be able to organise commands by pages, so that for example, you could put two regularly used commands on the first page, and other more rarely used commands hidden away on a second page which you would access via the Next button. Even better would be the ability to use a button to jump to another page of commands.
Note to Harmony: 1. Stop your web software reorganising user defined soft keys. There is NO need for you to do this. 2. If you can't do it any other way, at least provide a dummy command with a blank label that can be used to control the layout. It's not elegant, but you seem to like kludgie solutions.
Either option would be a trivial programming change for Harmony. I have found other posts from over a year ago from users complaining about this problem. Apparently Harmony said initially that they were "working on it", but I see we are no further forward. Clearly they don't take much notice of user feedback.
All these features have been available for years on the Pronto. Why oh why did I "upgrade"?

Only the 880/885 allows you to reorder the activities (for now).

Does the 880/885 allow for LCD commands reordering too? Or just activities?
