My pronto (tsu-3000) screen broke when daughter dropped it, so decided to look at harmony again. I bought their first remote (woefully inadequate), then switched to sony av-3000 (royal pain to program), then pronto, which I was pretty happy with, but it took days to customize. Must say I'll miss the docking station.

However, I just finished configuring my 659 (used, $58 on ebay) and am thrilled with it. Much smaller and lighter than the pronto and does everything I need. The harmony website configuration is so much better now. I did everything in a few hours, only had to load 3 codes from original remotes. Working with TV, DVD, VCR, AV Receiver and ReplayTV.

Family loves the activity-based buttons.

Glad to hear it! Sometimes it's only the dissatisfied users who post to the forums, so it's nice to hear from those who have good experiences too!

Enjoy your new harmony, and feel free to post any questions you come across!

Cheers,

spin

I, too, switched from the TSU3000 to the H880. Very glad I did. Pronto, the more configurable, was more cumbersome to set up and to use.

I switched from the Sony 3000, to the 880, and my wife has finally put away all the old remotes. She hated the way the Sony worked, the way it looked, and even disliked the touch screen. I was not remotely impressed with it either. I have since purchased several logitech remotes for friends and family, and have started to buy them for Christmas gifts. I have even started pre-programming the remotes.

I switched to the 659 from a Marantz RC2000 & just love the 659. It does everything including control my xbox. I have a front projector so my equipment is at the rear of the room & all I have to do is point the 659 up. The wife thinks the Harmony's the best thing I've bought after the Tivo.
Although the Marantz intimidated women & scared small children, I'm glad I went with Harmony.

Well, I'm another convert from Pronto. I had a TSU3000 for nearly three weeks trying to give the touchscreen a chance. I never did learn to like it and the dim screen was hard on these old eyes. I will say that, while I spent far too much time customizing my own setup and making new graphics in Photoshop Elements for use in the Pronto, I did enjoy the level of customization. I had a ball in that respect although the wife thought I was nuts. In the end though, that darned touchscreen was the deal breaker.

I'd bought the Pronto from HIDEF Lifestyles, an excellent advertizer on this great site and they graciously took the Pronto back, heartilly recommending the 880. It's on it's way right now and I'll be happy to be back with good old hard buttons.
