Someone posted a question in the UltimateTv forum at AVSFORUMS, and used the name MrKlaatu. It says he's been a member since April. All AVSFORUM members go post in his thread.

Jay - I'm flattered...I think! But I'm still looking to hear from the one and only MrK. However, through Alan's post, it looks like he is alive and kicking, but has for some reason, temporarily departed from this forum. I just hope he comes back soon. But I copied the following from his latest post:

Well, here's my theory ...
The Wall Street Journal (12/17/02, pg. D3) reported that this site's views during November were 3.3M, up from 2.3M for 11/01. Why? The wit, intellect and personality of MrK, of course! (What? There's OTHER stuff here?)
Therein lies the problem, my friends. It was a simple matter of bandwidth. MrK was a little TOO entertaining, and management decided he had to go. Enter from stage-left, Jay "the Cleaner" from Chicago.
That's right, MrK got "whacked".
