An e-mail I received last night . . .

David,

Thank you for your e-mail outlining your concerns. With respect to reporting I would like you to continue at this time, reporting into your usual contact.

I can clarify that you will be reporting into engineering via myself in the not to distant future, however as this is hot off the press I need to take time for council and discussion so that I can arrive at the correct strategic positioning of your roles going forward.

Should that not be "counsel"?

Corporate speak carries so much more weight when the correct words are used, rather than ones tha just sound right.

Put it this way, if I ever go to in to therapy, I will speak to a counsellor, not a councillor.
