Aha! I get what he means now!
Perhaps you could get rid of the open quick reply box at the end of those threads though...at first it looks like anyone could post a reply to it.
Which could also be interesting...kind of like commenting an article elsewhere? Not that it's really necessary, perhaps it is unwanted, but I could see some interesting discussion stemming out of the articles, especially those on new products.
Any way, great addition!

Actually there's two levels of this... the first prohibits new threads but allows replies, and the second prohibits new threads AND replies.
Looks like there was a bug in the coding... replies should be working.
