This one came to me whilst pottering about the threads when i noticed at the bottom of the page Forum Moderator "Daniel Tonks"(top bloke), and I thought, surely Daniel is to busy to keep browsing through all these meaningless threads constantly keeping people in order. It is with this point on my services are now in the hands of The Wrangler of Remotes Mr Tonks(top bloke),
I will offer unbiased and impartial views on any bickering that may come to fruition on this site and as per Daniels quote on a thread recently(see below)

the future mediation of this site starts here. Some people may or may not be aware my appearance on this site has upset one or two members to say the least but i can assure my administration will be swift unbiased as i have proved this evening when I recieved an email from a person who will remain nameless saying that Greg is not fit to eat with pigs, on which i sent a heated reply informing the person that he is fit to eat with pigs, thus showing that i a true to my word.
Mr Tonks, or can i call you Daniel(top bloke), I look forward to your post advising all members of Remote Central(fantastic site) that the new Forum Moderator Paul the Bas--rd(breath of fresh air) is on the prowl for naughtyness it text.
Thank you.

Good try, but I doubt it. Daniel does the job well by himself now, and when situation arises that he wants moderators, I think he'll probably have some names on the top of his list (those with unique to semi-unique tags, if you get what I mean).

And no, I don't think you've upset anyone. You've got to learn not to take us too seriously.

Although I think we could all help Daniel by keeping our posts appropriate.

One thing I've often thought might be handy was a "report spam" button to advise him of spam posts.

I tend to not like forums with more than a select few moderators because it seems moderation gets way out of hand. You've got to be on the moderator's good side, or else...

Great site, Daniel!

I agree with OTAHD. One of the best feature is that this site is not over moderated. we can discuss, fight and make up with out someone saying naughty naughty.

ROFL!!!

I hope that your post is all tongue-in-cheek, Paul!

However, I, for my part, will without fail abide by any and all rules that you seek to enforce in this forum, now that I know that you have appointed yourself its sole moderator, and will seek you out for arbitration should I have any problems with other users and their posts, especially, and without naming names, a poster with the initials djy!

Scouts honour!!!

Greg ;-)

Serious, me, very tongue in cheek Greg there is not a serious bone in my body, OTAHD's reply looks a bit serious though, hope i haven't offended.
That is just my way of saying that the banter around here is spot on and the site is excellent, Daniel has done a great job with it.
And while I am on the subject, I also think there is some good people posting through the threads especially on the UK side(djy & Mr Griffiths take a bow) only joking, the international side is ok i suppose.
Oh Greg that thing about the pigs, please accept my appologies as i seem to have offended the PIGS.

My goodness, doesn't time fly when you're having fun. Now, however, it's time for a little snooze.

I was wondering about the pigs, Paul. I've dined with some before and have never been invited back. I couldn't figure out why.......
