I got lots of cards and presents .
The best present was from my sister in law .
Shes looking after my children in Kensington London for a week and she has paid for my wife and i to go to stay at the Efendi hotel which is in Icmeler ,Turkey for a week!
(just need to find beer money!)
so from the 11th of August for a week i'll be drinking Efes and eating Kebabs.
I have never been to Turkey before and have read lots of good and a few bad reviews of the place..just have to wait and see ,I am really looking forward to it.

Staying in the Efendi hotel

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!

I've never been to Turkey but.........

I did help replace an automated feader system in a fully populated 10,000sqft 'turkey barn' when I was 16!!!

I'm sure the Turkish people are more fun to be around than those dang turkeys ;-)

Have a good time and remember.........

Every day is a good day.......some are just better than others!

Don't forget, mine's on the 10th Aug. Please send cheques, money orders, banker’s draughts to . . .

The Money Grabbing Limey*
By The Rather Large Field (that's just been cut)
The City On The Border
U.K.
By Europe (unfortunately)

*Unless one comes from London, in which case please substitute with Taffy. (Somewhat bizarrely, they tend to think we're Welsh).

PS
I don't take credit or debit cards.

Thanks guys and Happy Birthday Anthony.

Kids are off school (seven weeks school holidays) and as i'm down to one PC getting teenagers off MSN is a nightmare so my posting will be a bit sporadic for a few weeks.

I have found that about Londoners too djy they say i'm not from Manchester because i don't sound like a nasal toned Coronation street actor or a member of Oasis !
England revolves solely around London to quite a majority of Lononers that i have met.
