My first posting.

We have cable access to the house however we are currently using rabbit ear antennas on the TV's and not using the cable service.

I am thinking I can disconnect the "SIGNAL IN" line that goes out to the street and disconnect the lead from the 5DB splitter going to TV #6 and connect that to the "IN" side of the 3DB splitter.

I have installed an antenna in the attic, and have tapped into one of the coax cables.

Have three questions:
1. What is the coax lead coming out of the 7DB splitter. It goes back to the curb and the main Cable Box. Can I disconnect this?

2. There are six coax cables going into the house, from the cable connection box on the side of the house, how can I tell which coax cable I have hooked the antenna to?

3. The cable connection box on the side of the house says "Unauthorized use of the cable service is punshable . . . . . I dont think I am doing anything ilegal, am I?

I don't see how to post a photo or I would show the drawing as it would make much more it easier to understand. Send my you email address and I'll send the drawing.

Thanks
