HI, I hope someone can help.
I have 2 televisions in the same room,
a apex and toshiba both use the same
remote control infrared code, because if I
change the channel,volume,power on. for
one tv the other also gets changed.

Any advise?
Is there a way to change the tv ir code for one tv.
thanks
Jerry

the toshiba is a 50h72
apex is a at2408s

Changing them by getting up off your chair and manually pushing the buttons works just fine!
I'm just a sheep in wolf's clothing...

I wish I was as smart as you.

Is that what you do, on your 1951
vacuum tube blackandwhite tv with mono sound.

ha ha look at the new member getting riled !
he hasnt figured out this is the place for anything but remotes and that we always extract the urine in this forum if you post a serious question.so he's not taking the shame and starting a flame war!

first thing you have to do Vn750 is learn to read ,then someone might help you.
You know ...read the bit about what each forum is for and about ,
then read a few posts or even do a search but hey that would take effort from your part and you clearly dont want to get off your a$$

Thanks for your contribution buddy

Note: this is not the correct place for questions related to remote controls - please post those to one of our many other forums!

ok guys
thanks
sorry for not reading, no excuses.
I didn't see a forum that looked by name like a
proper place, I figured not to make a mess of things
and post in the all other category: here.

and I wasn't trying to start anything just joking back, nothing
serious. I guess I came across wrong.

I can gladdly take my a$$ and not come back if that's what I'm told to do.
I was just looking for a little help and hate it when forums like dealdatabase forums (tivo) give you grief for a reasonable
question.
so see you later, I might try your other forums if that's ok.
thanks

You tape a few wrapping paper tubes together and then tape it to the front of your remote.

Very directional IR.

I looked to 20 minutes for that photo/drawing. Who has it? Post it up!
