Hi,

I'd like to get an A/V switch which supports Svideo and composite video with as many audio links as possible - if it has RCA, Toslink and Coax all the better but I can do with just RCA if need be. 8 ports or more will be real nice!

Which switch would you recommened I get? The only hard requirement is that it should support discrete codes for power on/off and switching - no cycling though the same codes! Even better if codes are learnable.

Nice to haves:
1) Good build quality
2) Rack size - 17" width (like the zektors, wish the made some composite/svideo switches!)
3) 8 or more ports
4) Toslink and coax audio support

Thanks for all your suggestions!

Don't know of any 8 in. I think Radio Shack has a 6, I have used the Sima SVS-4D with 4 in & 2 out, it works well

the site looks to have more choices.

a google search will give you the answer if you put in the relevant criteria.
