Wow you guys. I just looked at his profile. It is weird that someone that posted that often would just quit altogether. Something bad must have happened.

Well, at least he's taken it better than Starfish did when I accused him of being Mr K in disguise.

I take it back. You can't be he.

Well you are right djy,

star50fiveoh, was Mr K and he also had another name. Something with "bear" in the name.

He emailed me back when Mr K came back one time, and star50fiveoh was around. I did the same thing as you. accused him of being Mr K. That night, Mike emailed me, and told me the truth, along with the other name he was using.

So I wouldn't doubt it that he's still around, even as Marky :-).

Sorry ol' chap; barking up the wrong daffodil there. I know far too much about Hereford UK and not nearly enough about Texas USA.

Now that's not to say there hasn't been an alter ego or two, but you'll have to dig deep to find 'em.

Exactly, it's extremely difficult to create a personality different enough from ones own to make it convincing.

I wouldn't be able to keep straight which one of my characters said what when. I'd be caught easily.

not my stile either. I can understand changing names to hide post count (kill one persona, but then why not let people know) or creating an idea as a joke (one time use) or create a serious and a fun persona not to mix the two, especially for a business insider where some details might be officially released but the second id gives a bit of freedom.

Not that I have ever done any of that. And the only reason my AVS ID is different is that Anthony was already taken and so went with AnthonyP there
